Hello everyone,
I'd like to introduce you to a suggestion of mine. as of recent I've socalised/played with people from guilds outside or alliance. I've made many friends in a particular one (Called Ascension) and seeing as to how we often play together, we thought of the possibility of joining forces.
They asked if they could join our alliance and I told them that a 'yes' is needed by all the alliance leaders. I've explained to them that we are a roleplay alliance which means they will have to respect the /as IC status and rules and not flood it with lols, and xDs to whih they responded (quote) : 'We like that idea very much and have no problem with it'.

They are good people (The ones I know) and very good players. So what do you think, can we give them a chance? And if they prove to be a scam (which I seriously doubt) we could always remove them.

Please, Lost guard of Tor Anroc and Iron Stone guild give me a response if you read this so we can speed things up and get some fresh blood in our ranks if you agree?

I've spoken to Fein about this last night and if the RP issue isn't a problem then I'm all for it. Fresh blood will be most welcome and I'll try to have a chat with one of the members tonight to get a feel for them.

The inclusion of more Guild in the alliance is a deffinite must & so on behalf of the Iron Stone Guild I vote a strong YES for their joining the Conclave of Light    

I’d like to see our alliance get filled up again, hopefully some new blood will help some other people get things together as groups. Sometimes I worry that others in the alliance think we who run in our scen/instance group are a bit cliquey. The fact is though that for a long time we were the only 6 who were around enough to commit to regular scenario and instance groups at certain times in the week, rather than just keep asking in /a, which more often than not doesn’t work as there aren’t enough online or people are busy doing other things.

So while we are a roleplay alliance, we have plenty of those who don’t really rp so it’s not massively important that they chat IC, just that they respect those who do. For me that’s not the major issue, I’d like to see a guild that really engages with the rest of the alliance. I know some people have been saying they don’t feel like part of the alliance because when they ask in /a people don’t respond. But then I never see any of these on the forums which is where we do all of our organisation, and as I said earlier /a rarely works in trying to organise anything apart from maybe an adhoc scenario group.

So anyway on behalf of TOC I’ll say we’re happy to have new guilds in the alliance. But they have to be willing to engage and using these forums regularly would be very helpful with that, and of course respect our roleplayers.

Ishum, i wouldn't worry about it and everyone knows it's not the case. people who have been playing together for a long time, stick together and that's only normal.
There's also cases that a lot of people don't use the forums for various reasons. I myself am really not a forum person haven't been since a long a way back and only came here to try and reach everyone for this new guilds matter instead of chasing people around in game where I know they go to have fun and not listen to me ask about politics !
there's also the case of how often people play that comes down to them being part of premades or not. We've been keeping it pretty much in the family in C&D not out of cliquish behaviour but simply because we all more or less log on together and decide on the spot whether to go in T2 or T4, etc etc.
Anyone's always welcome to play scens with us or ask and I am sure it's the same with every guild in the alliance.

Nice to have more on board, as I mentioned on /as chat when this was brought up, it is more about respecting those who are RP centric, and having manners thats all. Tbh from epic 2 hour RP sessions in the screaming cat at War's beginning my RP has shrunk to accusing Azlugrim of smelling like socks and stealing my ale. But its always fun to have the banter IC.

With swelling numbers it will be nice to get more organised groups and even events. Which reminds me I had an idea for one, must look into that again.
